The cockpit of the ERJ145

and the well-developed e-jet cockpit:

look quite the same, what do you think about porting the one from the e-jet family to ERJ ?
Hey Didier,
I think I've now understood how you animate the map
But there are still some questions left:
-How does your texture look like? I mean... is it an all white image with only the part as map that you like? or how else do you do it?
-Where did you get the map from? As far as I see it's skyvector, so is there a download page available? Or did you "screenshot" everything?

Bonjour!
Une autre petit question, comment est-ce que tu as fait la parachute dans le FDM?
À plus

Finally I also got a version of the EchoAir 2015, here it is:
(gear missing, will do that today)
PS: For the Windows I used the knife tool this time and I think it worked better, so: no "grey zones"
Hi!
Just wanted to let you know about my latest own-desgined aircraft project: The EchoMotorGlider.
Here are some pictures of the current state:
The interior in blender
The aircraft in flightgear, using the Sky-Sportser-FDM
The aircraft is made for two persons in a side-by-side cockpit. The engine is behind the cockpit(not yet modelled).

By the way, can't wait to fly your version of the aircraft!

How to create the interior for an aircraft (interior walls)? Manually? or is there any "trick"?
Regards
So, I let you picture what happens if you do it during fly !!!!
I would say.... CRASH!
And, I have to say: The Dornier aircraft aren't all that ugly, for example the DO328 (http://wiki.flightgear.org/Dornier_328) looks in my oppinion really good!
How did you make that your version of the aircraft hadn't got these "failures": (at the edges of the windows and in the interior)
Even the NASA uses the p2006t

A discussion to this topic.... (page 2 and 3) http://forum.flightgear.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=25925
(so remember about Marcel Dassault remark).
So, if planes only fly if they are looking nice, why do the Dassault aircraft fly
Errrr, sorry, can't find the page with the specs, and also have to go off now, tomorrow is school and there are still some things to do
And what about this?
This, with an electro motor and some batteries would have some advantages: No fuel in wings(-> Foldable wings-> better transporability), because you only need batteries and you can put them e.g. under the cabin/in the nose, so you can regular the CG. Less noise-> Not so much weight for noise barrier between motor and cabin. And more enviroment friendly.
What do you think?
Better to make the wing little bit longer, because in your last screen-shot it doesn't look nice (so remember about Marcel Dassault remark).
Like this?
Regards
For a good balance, the ideal position of the CG would be about in the middle of the wings base
Are you sure? Because, as I've already written, when the aircraft gets into stall and the CG is in the middle of the wing base, it:
1)falls straight down
2)tilts to one sight, according to the wind
In both cases, you (almost)can't control the aircraft anymore.
Here they are: w.dropbox.com/s/ik1jo143dycpobv/eclipse550.zip?dl=0
Maybe not all useful, but...
like this (only a small draft with an old aircraft version...)
Stall: I think there's a problem with the stall behavior: The balance point is approximately a bit in front of the motor and the wings are in front of the balance point.
So, if the aircraft gets into stall, it will turn to the back and fall down. In this situation, the aircraft is almost uncontrollable. Normally, the balance point is in front of the wings, so the aircraft will turn to the front and gets faster so you can control it again.
A possible solution would be, to make the wings longer or put them a bit more to the back like here (only fast draft, sorry if it doesn't really look like the aircraft )
How do you usually contact the companys? Via the contact form on the website?
Sorry, I've lost the latest model that you've send me... Could you send it to me again?
PS: Pictures from the AERO coming soon....
@Didier: Of course I can I'll send you them soon (today).
Today, at the aviation exhibition "AERO" in Friedrichshafen, I've taken some pictures of the Eclipse 550 (btw: a really great aircraft, also in rl)as well as of some other aircraft. If you want some of them just leave a post
@Helijah: Yes, I have already heared about that thing with HondaJet.... I was almost shocked when I wrote what they did.... Just can't understand them...
At the moment I'm waiting for Pilatus to approve a version of the PC-24
and
That's also why I like the old planes smile Many fewer problems.
That's why I prefer self-designed planes
Hi all!
Just a short question: Do I have to ask the aircraft manufacturer for permission before I distribute the virtual aircraft?
